Deathspank heads to PSN, XBLA July 13

Originally announced as an episodic installment, Deathspank has been converted into a full downloadable game. Ron Gilbert’s latest project will be hitting the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on July 13, which will retail for $15 (1200 Microsoft Points).
An adventure RPG at its own right, Deathspank takes players to a world where a swarm of enemies, leveling up, and endless looting is the everyday trend. Deathspank also has fully customizable weapons and armor, dialogue trees to progress through the narrative, side quests, local co-op (enables Player 2 to control Deathspank’s wizard partner, Sparkles), and over 15 hours of enjoyment.
Since becoming Hothead Studios’ creative director back in 2008, Gilbert also announced Deathspank will also be his last project with the developer. He made this announcement following the game’s completion back in April.
