Details emerge on Epic Mickey

Details are emerging about Epic Mickey, the mysterious Wii exclusive from Deus Ex creator Warren Spector and Junction Point Studios.

 

Gracing the cover of Game Informer's upcoming November issue, Epic Mickey is much darker than what you'd expect from the House of Mouse.

 

Epic Mickey is about a dark world with all the forgotten Disney characters and lesser-known rides and cartoons. It is run by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who was created by Disney long before Mickey Mouse. He has been jealous of Mickey for a long time and now he's finally getting revenge.

 

The Phantom Blot is sent to wipe out Mickey and the cartoon world. The result is black ink that causes colours to run and fade. Mickey must use artist's tools such as paintbrushes, erasers and pencils to restore his world. He will reportedly be getting a "retro makeover" for the title, as well.

 

Disney Interactive Studios will unveil the game on Oct. 28. Stay tuned to NoobFeed for the latest on this hotly anticipated title.
