E3 2010: 3DS to Support Installs
News by Logan Smithson on Jun 21, 2010
We know that the 3DS is a major upgrade in hardware over the DS, but we have another detail on how the system is a step ahead. Gamers will supposedly be able to copy software to the internal memory of the 3DS, meaning multiple games can be stored on the system so you will be able to switch through games without the need of inserting different cartridges. The details on this are slim, so we won't know exactly how this works until we have official word from Nintendo.
Pretty cool considering a big feature like this hasn't even been mentioned yet. Makes us wonder what else this system might do that we don't know about.
