Fans finally have more information about Final Fantasy 7 Part 3 thanks to an interview with Tetsuya Nomura that came out not long ago. Since the Remake Integrade versions are coming to Switch 2 and Xbox Series X, Nomura, a Japanese game artist and designer, who also directed Final Fantasy remake (2020), has been going around the world to show fans what's next for the series.

From the title's final name to its beloved mini-games, the third installment looks set to feature both old and new material. The return of Queen's Blood, a fan-favorite mini-game that has won many hearts since its first showing, is one of the most talked-about pieces of news. Nomura stated that Queen's Blood will return in the third part, stronger and more interesting, as it will be expanded and improved.

"We want to give players a more powered-up version of it when you see it in the third installment," said Nomura. Fans of the series can now enjoy the mini-game they've been waiting for.

The skiing mini-game is also coming back, along with Queen's Blood. Nomura hinted that it would be more closely tied to the story, ensuring it wasn't just a side activity. "Fans have really deep memories about snowboarding," he noted.

"We want to make sure that it’s incorporated into the story and has that sort of connection with the theming of it." Even though there aren't many details yet, it looks like players will be able to go snowboarding as part of story-driven tasks and then do it freely afterward.

As for how the game is coming along, Nomura told fans that everything is going well. He said that goals are being met and that the game can be played, but the team is still working on it to make sure it is the best it can be before it comes out. Square Enix's development philosophy is based on "polishing," meaning they want to ensure the end product is perfect without taking too long.

Queen’s blood rule.

Fans of the mini-game will enjoy further additions in Part 3, with the core format intact. Numerous builds and obstacles promise to keep all players engaged. Snowboarding will blend fun and story. Nomura’s comments suggest players will first experience snowboarding through a story event, then access it as a repeatable, enjoyable action loop with tricks, scores, and obstacles for added depth.

Part 3 is coming along smoothly.

One of the most encouraging reports is Nomura's estimate of how long it will take to make the game. The team is still working to improve the game, but the fact that it can already be played is good news for fans who can't wait for its release. Given similarities to other big projects like GTA, the finish phase might not take too long, leading to rumors that Part 3 could come out next year.

Also, Unreal Engine 4 remains the technology foundation; it has been heavily modified to meet the team's needs. Nomura said that using a known engine makes the development process go more smoothly because there is no need to learn Unreal Engine 5. This choice probably sped up the transition from Remake to Integrade, then to Rebirth, and finally to Part 3. This cut down on potential delays and ensured a smooth experience across all systems.

The title has been locked.

The final title of the game is probably the most-anticipated reveal. Nomura stated that the decision was made after Paris Games Week, following the narrowing of two options. The official name hasn't been announced yet.

The community thinks it might be Reunion, which fits with the game's themes of timelines, worlds, and character meetings. Fans aren't sure whether the franchise could "double dip" by using naming patterns from other shows, but most think the title will perfectly capture the story's ending.

A promising finale awaits.

Nomura's ideas give us hope for Final Fantasy 7 Part 3. Fans may look forward to additional mini-games, a skiing scene with a story, and a refined, playable experience.

The team's hard work and defined aims make it likely that the lengthy wait will end with a satisfying conclusion to this classic story. The enthusiasm keeps building now that the title is set and the gameplay is coming together.
