Gamers own DS robbers!

Society's stereotype of a game nerd might change in the near future after noticing this incident. On Wednesday, July 28 in Kaneohe, Hawai it's close to midnight when 2 masked robbers barge into a local game café, called PC Gamerz.
 

Devin Wolery is sitting at the counter, when the 2 assailants start shouting at him and punch off his glasses. All goes well for the robbers as they destroy monitors, threaten the clientele and demand they hand over what small change they have. That is, until one of the culprits attempts to strip local gamer Dylan Hays from his Nintendo DS.

Even under constant attacks, the young man pushes the robber to the entry of the building by sheer force. This inspires the other gamers to pounce and overpower their attackers, before the 2 hoodlums get rescued by their friends and escape.

Minutes later, the police shows up and apprehends 3 teenagers a block away from the crime scene; amongst whom 18-year-old Brycen Iona. This man was a customer at PC Gamerz and therefore left his personal information in the store.

Although the police cannot condone this type of behavior, Wolery and Hays say they were only trying to protect their home.

This will teach a man to mess with a gamer’s possession. You can push him around, shout insults at him and even threaten him. But woes betide you if you try and strip him from his gaming media.
