Goodbye Nintendo Power

An unknown source told Ars Technica that Nintendo Power magazine will cease publication. The magazine's senior editor, Chris Hoffman, tweeted earlier in the day: it's "sad to see it go," and the team will "try to make the last issue memorable." Tweets were deleted later in the day.

 

Nintendo Power: 1988-2012.

 

According to the mystery source Nintendo is not interested in taking over the magazine and Nintendo Power's editors were told of the news last week.

It is not known how many more issues of Nintendo Power will be published and if/how subscribers will be compensated.
