Irrational Games Wants Your Name in Bioshock Infinite
News by David on Apr 09, 2011
Bioshock Infinite is still a ways away, but Irrational Games is giving its fans something to look forward to until we all wait for the game’s eventual release next year. The developer recently announced they will be running a “Name in the Game” competition, which will allow a person’s name to be included in the final product as a unique character, location, or whatever.

It's your turn to be part of the Bioshock universe! Cool eh?
There’s no signups required; it’s actually all very simple. Just go to the Irrational Games website, enter your name and email address, then click ‘Submit’ on the bottom of the page. Be sure to submit your name before the end of April 13. You’ve got lots of time, so don’t worry about a thing.
Irrational Games actually did this before, when they included staff members’ names in places such as Sinclair Spirits and Robertson’s Tabaccoria in previous Bioshock games.
Well, I entered, but I sure as hell don’t think the name David Gabriel will really stand out or really fit in the Bioshock Universe, which is a big disappointment, because I’d always wanted to be included in something significant and be able to brag about it. I kind of wish I had a weird name like Kurt Zisa or something when he won a similar contest for Square’s Kingdom Hearts as an optional boss. Ah well, at least it was worth a try.
Bioshock Infinite will be released sometime in 2012, for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
