Miiverse coming to the Nintendo 3DS

Miiverse was announced for the Wii U on June 2012 and was officially launched in November. The newest addition, in beta form, to Miiverse allows it to be access from desktops and smartphone browsers and allow users to interact with friend feeds. It doesn’t support the ability to create new posts or new accounts, but Nintendo plans to “enrich the service incrementally”. 

According to the statement Nintendo is “planning to make available a system update for Nintendo 3DS to allow its users to view and post content on Miiverse on the system within this year”. In doing this Nintendo is hoping that people who own a Nintendo 3DS will be enticed into purchasing a Wii U because of the charm of Miiverse.
