If Rocket League wasn't insane enough for soccer and basketball a new mode called Rocket League Rumble seeks to establish new standards for the chaotic game.
Rumble will release this September and bring with it 11 power-ups that range from using a grappling hook to pull the ball towards you and kicking an opponent with a giant boot ACME style.
The list of power-ups include:
The Boot (Kicks an opponent’s car)
Disruptor (Forces your opponent to drive uncontrollably)
Freezer (Freezes the ball in-place)
Grappling Hook (Pulls you towards the ball)
Haymaker (Punches the ball)
Magnetizer (Attracts the ball to your car)
Plunger (Grabs the ball via plunger and cord)
Power Hitter (Allows you to hit everything harder)
Spike (Attach the ball to your car when you bump into it)
Swapper (Change positions on the field with your opponent)
Tornado (Sweep up the ball and opposing cars into a giant funnel cloud)
Rumble will be featured in online playlists, private matches, and exhibition options. No specific release date was given but given that September is next month we can expect an announcement very soon.
