Sega Speaking About Sonic's Future At SXSW

In 2017, Sonic had made one great game and one mediocre one. Sonic Mania reinvigorated fans love for 2D platformers by providing a faithful adaptation of Sonic classic gameplay within a modern game. Sonic Forces, on the other hand, suffered from short stages and odd physics. However, Sega has something planned for the Blue Blur this year.

At this year's SWSX called "Gotta Go Fast". A reference to Sonic if I ever heard one.

Sonic is back, and ready to take 2018 by storm. Join the official team from SEGA who are building Sonic’s future as they give you an update on last year’s strong performance of Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces, as well as the world-exclusive first look at what comes next for the fastest blue hedgehog.
