We Visited Nintendo And Previewed Some Games!

Hello boys and girls, gents and ladies; guess what I’ve been doing all day? I’ve been writing a bunch of stuff. Now guess what I did yesterday? I went to visit Nintendo to play a bunch of games, so I could write about them the day after. So if you’d like to preview a few upcoming titles, I’ve got you covered. It’s between -6 and -10°C outside, but I stormed through it, for you. Yes, you, generic person reading this. Here are some excerpts from the articles, so be sure to read the whole thing by following the link.
The Last Story

“As an RPG, The Last Story will have tons of combat and the game excels in being unique in this element, more than anything else. Using both Nunchuk and Wiimote (also Classic controller availability), combat has several entry points after which it develops in real time. One way is straight forward bashing, where players can simply move towards enemies to attack automatically when in range. The great part, besides ease of use, is how fluent characters also make use of most of the environments.”
Tekken 3D Prime Edition

“First off, each of the many characters has an extensive command list with a plethora of moves possible from many positions. This alone is the largest chunk of content this game has to offer, but it’s a virtual ton of material to work with. Especially taking in account multiplayer matches, it’s mind boggling to think of all the possible factors to take into account.”
Mario Party 9

“Mario Party 9 is a cornucopia of variety and that’s the key element towards keeping a game like this fresh and fun to play. This isn’t only applicable to the map itself and its many different options, but also in the mini-games available. Landing on a mini-game prompts a choice between 3 games that gets picked by the captain at that time. During our entire playtime, not once did we stumble on repetition.”
