To master Combat in 007 First Light you have to know the porper way to Parry. When you time your defense correctly you can block hits and create openings for your own attacks. Follow these steps to get better at combat.

Timing Your Parries

Watch your enemies for a yellow flash. When that flash gets bright and shows a small cross shape, hit your parry button. On PlayStation it is Circle, on Xbox it is B, and on PC it is Q. You have to hit it at the last second. If you see a red flash, do not try to parry. Just dodge or side-step instead.

Using Counters

A good parry usually starts a move that leaves the guard open and off balance. Once you learn the timing, you can use these moves to start combos in 007 First Light.

You can follow a parry with punches or moves that break a block. Sometimes a guard will swing at you two times in a row. Be ready to parry again right away if you see more yellow flashes.

Practice Makes Perfect

Combat takes time to learn. If you need help, go to the options menu and look at the combat tutorials. Practice is the only way to get the timing down during a busy fight. The more you play the story, the easier it will be to spot the flashes and win your fights in 007 First Light.
