Abyssus Guide | How to Unlock the Tesla Gun

After you reach the second realm, the Gardens, it's not too hard to unlock the Tesla Gun in Abyssus, though it does require some progress. The Tesla Gun is located directly next to the exit portal after you kill the mini-boss in this sector.

You only need to collect it, and it will be added to your inventory for future assignments. You can't use the weapon right now, however. Instead, it may be equipped in a workshop before the next run begins. This small delay ensures that new weapons fit well within the player's armory progression.

Tesla Gun 

The Tesla Gun is a weapon that uses charged electricity to deliver both steady and projectile-based attacks. Its secondary fire shoots projectiles that cause lasting shock damage as they travel through adversaries. In contrast, its main fire emits a continuous electric beam that deals steady damage over time.

Each bullet from the secondary fire uses 20 rounds of ammunition, and both firing modes share a single ammunition pool of 100 units. Because excessive use of a single shooting mode can quickly deplete total reserves, this shared ammo system needs to be carefully managed.

The Tesla Gun's moderate damage output and slow speed must be taken into account when designing around it. Its constant coverage and dependable range make up for its lack of the raw, devastating force of other Abyssus weapons.

It works particularly well for managing groups of enemies or applying pressure to bosses, as precision is not vital. Combining the Charge Beam as the main fire and the Magnetic Storm as the secondary fire produces a well-balanced, efficient configuration that optimizes the Tesla Gun's performance.

Charge Beam

The Charge Beam is especially useful in boss battles because it increases damage to the enemy's weak points. Applying 100 damage gradually with the Tesla Gun will unlock it. Magnetic Storm, on the other hand, is a potent secondary fire option that spreads lightning arcs around the battlefield.

This assault is ideal for dealing with multiple targets because it offers wide coverage and strong crowd control. Dealing damage to seven adversaries at once unlocks Magnetic Storm, which rewards timing and clever placement in battle.

The most practical ability to combine with the Tesla Gun is the Brine Field. The weapon has a decent range, but its slower rate of fire means engagements often occur at closer range. 

By slowing down oncoming adversaries and establishing a defensive barrier, the Brine Field helps make up for this and buys time for repositioning and recharging. The Tesla Gun user can keep control of the battle without being overpowered by swiftly moving adversaries thanks to this synergy.

Aspects are essential to improving the Tesla Gun's performance, as they are for all builds in Abyssus. Because each run randomly selects Aspects, the best combinations rely on what is available. Nonetheless, this weapon works particularly well with several types. 

The Tesla Gun's continuous beam rapidly charges shields, giving a consistent defense boost during extended combat; hence, the Barrier Aspect is ideal for the primary fire slot. By giving adversaries bleeding effects and boosting general health, the Blood Aspect enhances the secondary fire.

Particularly for those employing projectile-based secondary attacks, this combination improves both offensive capability and survivability. Lastly, the Brine Field ability and the Tentacles Aspect work well together. Tentacles attacking adversaries right after the Brine Field adds a dependable layer of offensive follow-up, as the field itself doesn't deal direct damage.

Charms

Charms, which provide little but important bonuses, complete the Tesla Gun construction. Charms are created at random every run, just like Aspects, but some go better with this weapon than others.

For example, the Tesla Gun's ranged capabilities are nicely complemented by the Marksman charm, which increases damage output against adversaries that are far away. The Overcharge charm.

This may improve energy regeneration or minimize ammunition consumption, allowing longer sustained attacks before reloading, which is another wonderful alternative. These charms reduce downtime during combat and boost the Tesla Gun's effectiveness.
