Battlefield 6 Guide | Best Low Rank Weapons List
Here's a list of the best rank weapons.
Game Guide by Joy Rahman on Oct 17, 2025
There are a lot of underrated weapons in Battlefield 6 that perform surprisingly great when used with the proper loadout.
It’s important that you understand weapon stats like fire rate, recoil, and the damage drop off over long range, especially before you unlock higher-tier gear.
B36A

Most of the assault rifles in Battlefield 6 deal similar damage, but they often differ in the rate of fire and the amount of recoil. This weapon stands out with a very high 725 fire rate and decent range compared to the other rifles in its class.
It has low recoil, making it one of the best rifles to handle once you equip basic attachments, and it performs pretty well at close range when you add a laser sight to improve hipfire accuracy.
Although I wouldn’t recommend this gun for small maps, it’s still one of the more balanced weapons for beginners.
E39 EMR

The M39 EMR is a drastically improved weapon when compared to how it was during the Battlefield 6 beta.
It has better headshot multipliers and less recoil, making it a really strong DMR. You’ll be able to take down enemies in three body shots or two head shots, with a 20-round magazine, which proves to be really accurate.
DMRs usually tend to be awkward weapons, especially on the attack, but on defense-oriented modes with precise aim, they can be menacing to possess and can even outperform snipers.
M344

The M433 is one of the more consistent and reliable weapons; its time-to-kill is probably one of the best in the game. You’ll be able to take down enemies faster than SMGs while still being strong at range.
It takes four shots to kill at close range. A lot of people underestimate it as it’s an early-game weapon, but with the right attachments, it’s extremely powerful.
M277

It may seem underwhelming at first, but you’ll be able to deal with short kills up to 75 meters.
It also possesses a built-in suppressor, which is a rare lower-level unlock.
It might not seem worth it at first because of its slow rate of fire and magazine size, but because of its consistent range damage, it’s definitely worth a try.
PW7A2

For being an SMG that you get early on in the game, the MP7 really does outperform most SMGs.
It has a really fast fire rate and consistent hipfire accuracy.
With a proper loadout, you’ll be able to take down targets with six hits, which is pretty good when you consider its fire rate.
I would recommend pairing this gun with the engineer class, as it will give you better hipfire accuracy.
L110

The L110 LMG gives you assault rifle-esque damage with the advantage of a fast fire rate and a 100-round magazine. It’s great for long engagements, and it fits like a glove with the support class.
M87A

This pump shotgun fires at a rate of 100, which is surprisingly fast for a shotgun.
You’ll be able to get from the start, and it can even be equipped as a secondary weapon for specific setups.
You’ll need to be careful, though, as equipping to primary weapon will limit the amount of ammo you get for the main weapon.
M4A1

The M4A1 is probably the best weapon in Battlefield 6; it gives you a good balance of everything from fire rate, control, and accuracy.
It does 25 damage per shot (4 shot kill) and with its 900 fire rate, it shoots faster than most assault rifles while still being accurate even at longer ranges.
Call it a Swiss Army knife if you will, its versatility makes it a strong contender for being the best low-ranked weapon in Battlefield 6.
Each weapon will have its unique strength that will cater to different play styles.
