This guide explains just about everything that can be found or obtained in the game, ranging from unlockable floors to optional items needed for a 100% save.

Floors/Elevator Buttons

To obtain elevator buttons for additional floors, a few prerequisites must be met before the elevator button will spawn on a floor.

For The Studios, Artist's Rest, Abyss, Lower Levels, Music Department, Tunnels, and GENT Workshop, the floor in question must be completed at least once.

Then, a certain number of enemies must be killed for the elevator button to appear. For example, to obtain the Artist's Rest button, you must clear The Studios at least once and kill ten Searchers.

What Each Floor Gives You

Each floor can grant different unlockables for the Safehouse, and knowing what each floor commonly provides helps target specific unlocks.

The Studios can provide Safehouse Scraps and Padlock Keys (the latter more commonly after obtaining Safehouse Scraps). Artist's Rest most commonly drops Padlock Keys and also Fuses.

Abyss is the primary source of Hearts. Lower Levels can yield Milla Audio Tapes and the Safehouse Key.

The Music Department contains Safehouse Music, Safehouse Dances, Candles, and Sammy's Mask. Tunnels commonly drop Lost Papers.

GENT Workshop can provide the GENT Key, Prototype Schematics, and Safehouse Dances.

How to Unlock the "???" Floor

After datamining, the "???" floor does not exist in the current build; it might be added in a later update, but at present it cannot be unlocked by any in-game means.

How to Get to Floor 414

To reach Floor 414, survival until the 414th day guarantees encountering it, though it can be discovered earlier by pure chance.

Regardless of which floor is entered when the condition occurs, the game will force the transition to Floor 414, where Borkis replaces the Ink Demon.

Floor Bosses and Enemies

Several floors feature different enemy compositions and boss encounters. The Studios have the Ink Demon as the hunter and Searchers as enemies.

Artist's Rest includes the Ink Demon as the hunter with Searchers and Lost Ones as enemies.

Abyss contains Searchers, Lost Ones, and Ink Flyers, and after collecting five Hearts, the boss Projectionist will appear.

Lower Levels adds Ink Widows/Spiders to the enemy mix and will spawn Alice Angel as a boss after collecting five Milla Audio Tapes and the Safehouse Key.

Music Department and Tunnels include Searchers, Lost Ones, Ink Flyers, and Ink Widows/Spiders.

GENT Workshop adds GENT Turrets to that set of enemies. Floor 414 replaces the hunter with Borkis and has no regular enemies.

Bonus enemies can also appear: the Butcher Gang may appear after obtaining five Padlock Keys and opening a crate (they can appear on any floor), and Mechanical Animatronics appear after defeating them during the boss fight every ten days.

Once an enemy type is unlocked, it can appear on any floor, meaning a GENT Turret could spawn in Artist's Rest, for example.

Playable Characters

There are three playable characters in total, though at the time of writing, two of them are only usable in their specific exceptional levels. Boris is the default character and gains the ability to stack buffs later on.

Porter is playable in the special Tunnels level and can use a Flow teleport ability at the cost of stamina.

Sammy Lawrence is playable in the exceptional Music Department level, cannot run, and can vanish into ink cracks found in walls to teleport between rooms while consuming stamina.

How to Unlock Playable Characters

To unlock Sammy Lawrence, after unlocking the Music Department, collect four Candles and Sammy's Mask, then set up the ritual in the men's restroom in Boris' Safehouse.

To unlock Porter, after unlocking the Tunnels, find five Lost Papers and return them to the Golden Days Gallery in the Safehouse.

Weapons / Components

The game features five unlockable weapons obtainable through components found on floors, and each successive gun deals more damage than the previous one. The Frying Pan is given by default.

The Plunger can be found in The Studios among the openable objects. The Baseball Bat is typically found in the Abyss among openable objects. The Mallet is commonly found in the GENT Workshop in openable objects.

The Scythe can be acquired from GENT Crates that appear on all floors after unlocking the Ink Toy and developing the seven Mystery Boxes, though it remains a low-chance drop even on easier difficulties.

Each weapon has a chance to appear, so multiple runs may be necessary to obtain specific components.

Safehouse / Arcade Obtainables

Several secrets in the Safehouse and the Arcade lead to permanent unlocks or collectibles. To obtain the Banjo in the Safehouse, find a spare banjo in a coffin on the Music Department floor; collecting one and finishing the floor places a permanent banjo by the kitchen stove.

After collecting seven Scraps, near the kitchen, a stack of papers with a large bendy drawing appears; interacting reveals Boris' backstory.

Collecting five Hearts from the Abyss can cause the Projectionist to replace the Ink Demon. Obtaining five Padlock Keys can cause the Butcher Gang to spawn on any floor.

Past the elevator in the Safehouse sits a Fuseball machine that requires six Fuses to repair; repairing it allows play, and beating Wally's high score grants access to a Joey Drew audio tape.

Collecting five Milla Audio Tapes and the Safehouse Key can unlock a special Lower Levels floor where Alice Angel replaces the Ink Demon.

Finding five Lost Papers enables playing as Porter on the Tunnels floor in a hide-and-seek event with a Lost One.

To unlock Sammy, collect four Candles and Sammy's Mask to open an exceptional Music Department level playable as him.

Audio tapes can spawn in the female and male bathrooms, but access to the Wilson tape in the male bathroom requires completing the Sammy Music Department level first.

Arcade Unlockables

To obtain the Arcade Key, you must defeat a boss on a random boss floor; inside the Arcade are several minigames.

Finding a bowling ball in one of the lockers on any floor after unlocking the Arcade will unlock the Bowling Room.

The arcade minigames include Butcher's Bash (winning currently does nothing), Dart Board (winning currently does nothing), Bowling (winning currently does nothing), and the Claw Machine, which can unlock up to seven plushies that appear in the center of the arcade room.

The eighth plushie is currently unobtainable.

How to Get the Ending of Lone Wolf

To reach the ending and obtain Steel Boris, progress the main game until the elevator room prompt shows the requirement of seven Mystery Boxes.

After collecting all seven, obtaining the GENT Key, and unlocking the door in the Safehouse with all five Prototype Schematics, open the mystery boxes to receive prototype parts for the Prototype Ink Machine.

Activating the machine triggers a three-wave boss fight featuring assorted enemies while the machine powers on; completing all three waves plays the ending cutscene.

Optional Obtainables / Boris Buffs

For an authentic 100% save, three optional but rare collectibles do not affect the ending or achievements directly.

The Safehouse Book currently serves no purpose beyond decoration; it can appear on any floor in lockers and then sit on the kitchen table next to Boris' Bone, though it cannot be interacted with.

The Ink Toy can be found in Boris' corpses in Lower Levels, and placing it in the Safehouse allows switching the ink machine display into small plushies of popular bendy characters.

The Golden Bacon Soup is discovered in lockers; it permanently increases stamina so you can run or swing faster when consumed at the Safehouse, and it reappears after relaunching the game; it also makes subsequent bacon soup purchases golden.

Boris' Bone can be found in lockers or on top of items; placing it on the kitchen table increases sprint speed, and when combined with Golden Bacon Soup, it becomes possible to outrun most enemies.

How to Get Steel Boris

To obtain Steel Boris, complete the required sequence of collecting seven Mystery Boxes, the GENT Key, and all five Prototype Schematics, then power on the Prototype Ink Machine and survive the three-wave assault to trigger the ending that grants Steel Boris as the reward.
