Here's how you can get your hands on Rainbow Vomit in Borderlands 4.

Jakob's The Rainbow Vomit is a legendary elemental shotgun dropped by Leader Willem. This weapon tends to be a bit tedious to get; to unlock Leader Willem, you'll need to complete five specific side quests in the Carcadia region.

The quests are Enter The Elect Part I, Enter The Elect Part II, The Counsel Divided, A Traitor Within, and lastly The Mole's Gambit. Completing all these missions will take you around an hour or two, and it'll unlock access to Leader Willem and his Encore Machine.

For ease of travel, you want to fast travel to the Rustical Hurl Order Silo, as it will have the quickest route to Leader Willem.

When entering the boss's marked area, you'll notice a purple orb that lets you skip through the facility and allows you to go straight to the boss. Using the shortcut will save you a lot of time.

Leader Willem isn't the hardest of bosses, but he does move quickly around the arena, and overall, the fight should be a breeze.

The Rainbow Vomit isn't a guaranteed drop, so you might need to defeat him a bunch of times to get your hands on the weapon; use the Encore Machine to farm him repeatedly until you get your desired drop with your desired element.

The legendary shotgun does great damage and has really good fire accuracy paired with a splash radius. It can feature a bunch of elements such as cryo, fire, radiation, and shocks — the elemental drops are random.

Since it's a Jakobs weapon, it also features a ricochet effect. When it shoots, the tracers have a star trail, which is pretty cool.

It's a great weapon to take hold of enemies due to its strong damage output, and it's one of the strongest shotguns in the current loot pool.
