Borderlands 4 Guide | How to get Firewerks Shield
Here's how you can get your hands on the legendary Firewerks Shield.

The legendary Firewerks Shield is dropped from one of the first bosses that you'll encounter in the campaign, found during the Recruitment Drive mission in Fadefields. You'll be able to find the region in the southern part of the map.
I would recommend unlocking The Stockroom Silo, so that you'll be able to fast travel from there and take the nearby zip line, which will take you directly to the boss area.

Farming the boss should be pretty easy since it's a straightforward fight, but it can be a bit tedious when you consider the drop rate is somewhere around 5% so you might be there farming for a while, hence the importance of The Stockroom Silo.

The Splashzone tends to drop valuable loot almost every run, from blues, purples, to legendries, even. Purples in Borderlands 4 tend to be fairly strong, and they can also roll with licensed parts for enhanced stats, making them immensely valuable.
The Firewerks Shield rolls with randomised stats like capacity, damage reduction, and elemental resistance.
The elemental resistance will determine the element of the missiles that fire, and whenever it doesn't include elemental resistance, that means it won't fire elemental missiles.

But one thing is always guaranteed: the legendary effect Missile Swarm that triggers on shield break and launches three forming missiles.
The shield also features another effect where every kill will spawn a muscle that will automatically come in on a nearby enemy, which is neat.
The Firewerk's passive nature makes it very reliable, and its ability to track targets makes it really effective. It's a great shield to have with great baseline stats, and the fact that you can get it early on makes it very appealing.
