Dispatch Guide | Episode 7: Important Choices

With the release of  Dispatch Episodes 7 and 8, the series endured a thematic shift into tense drama. Decisions at this stage prove to be consequential as they test team loyalty, romance pathways, and key plot twists.

This guide will note down some of the more important and consequential choices in the penultimate episode of  Dispatch – Episode 7.

Team Meeting: Invisigal Choice

During the team meeting, the team discusses Invisigal's botches and compares them to the dismissal of Sonar/Coupé. You’ll be peer-pressured into sacking Invisigal. It’s here that you have to make an important choice.

• [CUT HER]
• [DEFEND HER]

Defending Invisigal will drop morale momentarily, but will add a richer emotional arc and depth to the overall story, where you will get more options later down the line. Taking the compromised route will have mixed reactions from the team.

Whereas cutting her would simplify some of the options later, and she still may help the team later in the finale, depending on the options you picked along the way.

Invisigal Conversation

Invisigal will approach Robert and then later admit to placing a bomb, destroying the Mecha Man suit. She’ll say that Shroud manipulated her into a deal that would clear her debt for doing so, and that her motives were because of her health issues.

You’ll be given the options:

• I don’t know what to feel.
• I forgive you.
• We're done.

Forgiving her will further develop their romantic relationship, where she may even kiss you afterwards.

Whereas the other options will have conversations that create distance and reduce romance options.

Tip: Lean in during the kissing sequence if you want to further your relationship with Invisigal.

Shroud Encounter

After being kidnapped by Shroud, he will explain details about Robert’s father and his belief in heroes. He will also partake in a game of Russian roulette with your head on the line. 

During the cutscene,  the dialogue won't be as consequential, but asking questions that challenge Shroud's beliefs will reveal added lore about his intentions and the Astral Pulse.

Signboard Scene

Following Blonde Blazer's heroics, following her rescue efforts of Robert, she talks about her doubts about Invisigal. You’ll be given the options:

• Who cares?
• She’s planning something.
• I trust her.

Blonde Blazer will remember all of the responses. Picking "I trust her“ can be seen as overly optimistic.
