Dispatch Guide | Episode 8: Important Choices + All Endings

The finale of Dispatch –  Episode 8 will have you tie loose ends, acting. This episode will determine the ending as well as the characters that follow, many of them having different outcomes. 

This guide will elaborate on some of the decisions and their consequences.

Free Invisigal?

In one of the scenes, you will discover that the visit is restrained, and as the Red Ring closes in, you will have an important decision to make. Whether to trust Invisigal again and free her or to go alone even after she pleads.

• [UNTIE HER]
• [GO IT ALONE]

This is probably the most important decision in this episode, as they will determine how the ending will pan out.

Untying her will have her join the fight and help you defeat the enemy, giving you the Forgiveness Ending.

If you choose to "Go it alone." Invisigal will escape after your encounter with the Red Ring member, and will also affect the outcome of the final scene.

Mecha Man Battle Scene

After Robert gets his suit back, he’ll be confronted by Toxic, a Red Ring member. Shroud will also join the scene later.

During the action sequence, either Coupé or Sonar will show up, confronting you about having them removed from the Z-Team. You can respond with:

• I'm sorry.
• It wasn’t personal.
• Looks like I was right.

Choosing "I'm sorry" strengthens the Team Unity and may play a role in getting the Forgiveness Ending.

Shroud Choice

Shroud will demand the Astral Pulse during the final scene, threatening Beef's life. And you aren’t necessarily sure that he’s a trustworthy person, you’ll be given the options:

• [GIVE HIM THE ASTRAL PULSE]
• [GIVE HIM BOTH]
• [GIVE HIM THE PROTOTYPE]

If you choose to give him the Astral Pulse, he will temporarily be powerful, but his selfish nature will lead to his demise.

Giving him both will give you an alternative ending where the Astral Pulse will make everyone on the enemy vomit.

Giving him the prototype will serve as a clever deception, giving you the Strategist Achievement.

Once he is weakened, you can choose to:

• [KILL HIM]
• [SPARE HIM]

Killing Shroud will end the cycle of violence in exchange for the Vigilante Ending.

Whereas sparing him will open the door for a Redemption Ending.

Team Celebration

After the battle, there will be a moment with the team regroups and wraps up the story, which will be based on previous choices, including romance ones.

• If you forgive Invisigal, she’ll return for a moment of reflection, giving you closure. There will also be a possibility of her kissing Robert in front of the whole team, depending on the romance options.
• You’ll also be allowed to choose whether to forgive Sonar or Coupé and allow them to reach you in the team.
• The final celebration will depend on Roberts' overall leadership. (Humble Hero, Determined Leader, or Team Focused Commander)

Ending Guide

Forgiveness Ending – Untie Invisigal + Spare Shroud + Forgive Coupe or Sonar.

The entire team will reunite, and the process of rebuilding will start to begin, and most of the romance scenes will follow through.

Vigilante Ending – Kill Shroud + Cut Invisigal + Refuse forgiveness

Compared to the other endings, this one is relatively bleak, where Robert becomes feared but well respected.

Redemption Ending – Give Prototype + Spare Shroud + High City Stability

It’s considered the most popular and close to canonical ending, where there’s an equal balance of justice and unity.
