You will find this boss inside the Craggy Cave. Prepare your equipment, restore your health and magic points, and ensure that your strongest spells are ready for use. Since the boss can disrupt your spellcasting, you’ll need to be prepared for both magical and physical combat.

Strategy to Defeat the Boss

During this encounter, focus on dealing heavy damage through your most powerful spells. Begin the fight by attacking the boss with high-damaging magic to reduce its health as quickly as possible.

When the Sorcerer removes your ability to use spells, immediately switch tactics and rely on Flame Slash to continue inflicting steady damage.

Alternating between these two approaches—powerful spells when available and Flame Slash when your magic is sealed—will allow you to maintain control of the battle and eventually defeat the Sorcerer in Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake.
