Echoes of the Living Guide | Pendantel Boss Fight
A simple, safe way to beat Louis Pendantel, grab the Pendantel Necklace, and keep enough ammo for what comes next.

Louis Pendantel is a fight that punishes people who are scared. The arena feels small, the camera can flip at bad angles and wasted shots add up quickly.
The best thing to do is to stay calm, give yourself some space and only attack when you can clearly recover. This guide is all about dealing consistent damage, moving safely, and timing your healing.
Before the Fight Begins
Start with a clean stock. Keep one strong heal like a First Aid Item, close at hand and not hidden behind other important things. If you can, bring a powerful weapon like a shotgun or flare gun, and then keep a reliable backup weapon like a handgun. The Knife can still get the job done, but it needs more time and space to do it safely.

Instead of chasing damage, take control of space.
It's easier to fight when movement stays simple. Avoid getting stuck in corners by circling wide. When the camera changes, take a half step to the side to get back in the center, and then keep going.
If Louis Pendantel pushes forward, make space first. Don't shoot while you're turning. Take one clean shot and then reset the spacing again after the aim line feels stable.

Damage Windows That Keep You Safe and Save Ammo
Damage should happen after a move, not in the middle of a fight. Wait for Louis Pendantel to finish an attack animation, then hit him once and run away.
You should think about heavy weapons the same way you think about decisions. One well-aimed shotgun blast is better than a lot of quick shots. When using the handgun, concentrate on steady hits instead of emptying a whole magazine while the camera is moving.

Take the Pendantel Necklace and Keep Going
The reward is just as important as the win after the fight. Get the Pendantel Necklace right away, then keep going without taking too much. This part often leads to the next important goal, so keeping track of your inventory helps you avoid having to drop things and go back.

Get the Underground Passage Key Without Using Up Supplies
Check the rooms again with a clear goal once the area is safe. The next progress gate usually connects to the Underground Passage Key, so things should keep moving smoothly.
Don't start any more fights while you're cleaning up. It's usually not worth it to spend ammo after a boss if you can get past an enemy.
Mistakes That Often Lead to Cheap Deaths
The quickest way to lose a run is to stand still and heal without any space. You should only heal after making space and making sure you have a clear path. Another trap is to promise too much to melee. The Knife works, but only if you attack while you're recovering safely and keep your spacing clean.
