Finding the Bone Scroll in Hollow Knight: Silksong requires you to progress through several areas and complete specific tasks.

Prerequisites and Path to the Seamstress

Before you can get the Bone Scroll, you need to reach the Seamstress. To get there, you must first navigate through the Deep Docks. If you haven't reached this area yet, you'll need to progress through a series of steps in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Start by going through the top of the Moss area and defeating the Bell Beast. After this victory, proceed through Hunter's March and drop down to continue your journey. Navigate to the left of the Deep Docks to find the Sprint ability.

Once you have the Sprint, head down and face Lace in battle. After defeating Lace, make your way to the Far Fields and traverse through that entire area until you eventually reach the Seamstress in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Completing the Seamstress Quest

You can't get to the Bone Scroll right away when you get to the Seamstress. To get the Drifter's Cloak, you must first finish her Quest. The Seamstress will give you specific jobs to do as part of this Quest. You can only move on to the next step after completing her Quest and getting the Drifter's Cloak.

Accessing the Bone Scroll

Once you have completed the Seamstress Quest, head to the right side of her area, look for a mechanism located on the second jet above you. You need to activate this mechanism and then wait for a moment. The mechanism will explode after a short delay, opening up a previously inaccessible area in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Retrieving the Item

Enter the newly opened area and take the item you see there. You can find the Bone Scroll in the Far Fields, to the right of the Seamstress area. However, you can't get there until you finish the required Quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
