In this final section of Chapter 3: Carnevale, your objective is to retrieve a missing key, unlock the exit, and escape from Kin and Mini Kin. Careful coordination between both players will be required to complete this sequence and reach the ending cutscene in Little Nightmares III.

Retrieving The Key

Remain in a crouched position as you move carefully from one side of the room to the other until you reach a locked door. If you missed it earlier, Kin placed the key you need on top of a box you passed by while he was preparing props for the performer. Use the elevator nearby to ascend to the next floor so you can return and collect the key in Little Nightmares III.

Accessing The Locked Door

Once you’re back in the stage area, walk across the plank and grab the rope hanging above the box to descend to the location of the key. After retrieving it, make your way back to the same hatch you previously went through. Player Two must take the ladder down to assist in reopening the hatch door, allowing both players to continue forward.

The Final Chase

After opening the hatch, a short chase sequence with Kin and Mini Kin will begin. Evade them as you progress until reaching a hot air Balloon. Once inside the Balloon, both players need to pull the handle simultaneously to initiate takeoff. When Mini Kin climbs onto the Balloon and attempts to ignite it, pull the handle again to counter the threat.

Ending Chapter 3: Carnevale

The Balloon will gradually drift away into the distance as the cutscene unfolds, marking the conclusion of Chapter 3: Carnevale in Little Nightmares III.
