Little Nightmares III - The Shore Guide | All Paper Boat Locations

Finding every collectible paper boat in The Shores expansion for Little Nightmares III wraps up the Shipshape trophy and achievement. None of these items are missable since you can pick up any missed items later with Chapter Select, but grabbing them in one run saves plenty of time.

Here is where to find all eleven Paper Boats scattered throughout the chapter.

Paper Boat #1

Right after the opening sequence, head right, climb the ladder, and crawl through the vent shaft. Drop down into the next room by jumping on the loose grate.

Move forward toward the screen to spot a low vent on the right. Crawl inside. Look up toward the top right ledge to see an NPC sitting down. The first Paper Boat rests directly beneath that ledge in Little Nightmares 3 - The Shore DLC.

Paper Boat #2

After you flood the chamber and swim through the lower opening, you will reach an outside shore area with a floating buoy and a large corpse. Deal with the chasing slime, then climb the ladder positioned beside the body.

Head right to spot a set of stairs. Walk down the stairs to the bottom right edge of the beach. You will spot a small grave dug into the dirt; the second Paper Boat is tucked right inside it.

Paper Boat #3

Head up the stairs you just passed. Walk left past the hanging corpse holding a key until you find an old suitcase in Little Nightmares 3 - The Shore DLC.

Drag the suitcase under the doorway on the left and hop through into a long corridor. Head up the hallway and enter the door on the upper left side. The third Paper Boat sits right on top of the desk in this room.

Paper Boat #4

Continue forward until you complete the dual-lever water puzzle and reach the higher scaffolding. Pull the dumpster to lower the plates, scale the wall, and run left until an NPC on a high platform tosses a crate down to you.

Climb up to that platform. Head all the way to the right side of this elevated area. The fourth Paper Boat sits on an overhead beam; climb up the wooden slats to grab it.

Paper Boat #5

After escaping the monster in the flooded basement and dropping through the trapdoor, head up and walk through the door on the upper left. Push through the adjacent room into a bathroom. 

Pick up the three toilet paper rolls scattered around, toss them straight into the toilet bowl, and flush the handle to fill the entire bathroom with water. Swim up to the rising water line and exit through the door on the top right to claim the fifth Paper Boat in Little Nightmares 3 - The Shore DLC.

Paper Boat #6

Advance into the room where an old television set nearly falls into the deep pool. Swim across to the right and scale the stack of suitcases.

Pull the lever to bring up the lift, then climb right back up those exact same suitcases. Squeeze through the narrow wooden gap on the right wall to grab the sixth Paper Boat.

Paper Boat #7

After taking the elevator down and riding the rolling carriage through the crawlspace, jump out onto the floor. Walk straight up the hallway toward the back wall. The seventh Paper Boat sits in the far corner on the ground.

Paper Boat #8

Once you sneak past the monster and ride the subsequent service elevator up, you will spot the collectible resting in the water right in front of you.

You cannot reach it while the pool is filled. Follow the walkway to the far right, pull the drain lever to empty the basin, and drop down to the dry floor. Run back to the left side to pick up the eighth Paper Boat.

Paper Boat #9

Drop through the center trapdoor and proceed into the room with two overhead levers and a ladder. After solving the switch puzzle and flooding the area, jump into the pool in Little Nightmares 3 - The Shore DLC.

Swim through the upper right doorway, pop up to catch your breath, then dive straight down into the submerged opening on the lower right. Follow this hidden underwater tunnel all the way to the end to surface and collect the ninth Paper Boat.

Paper Boat #10

After escaping the monster and reaching the hallway with a Vending Machine, wait for the patrolling creature to leave. Interact with the machine to drop a soda can.

Grab the can, throw it directly through the glass window on your left, and climb through the broken pane. The tenth Paper Boat is resting inside this small hidden side room.

Paper Boat #11

Once you clear the co-op crank puzzles and flee the pursuers outside, you will arrive at the Lighthouse. Step inside and ride the main elevator all the way to the top.

As soon as the elevator doors open, head directly left before interacting with the machinery or mirrors. Pick up the eleventh and final Paper Boat here to pop the Shipshape trophy in Little Nightmares 3 - The Shore DLC.

Q. Can you miss any Paper Boats in The Shores?

A. No. Even if you walk past one, you can load into the DLC via Chapter Select at any point after beating the story to pick up whichever boats you skipped.

Q. What reward do you get for collecting all eleven Paper Boats?

A. Grabbing the final boat at the top of the Lighthouse unlocks the Shipshape trophy and achievement.

Q. Do you need two players to reach every Paper Boat?

A. No. If you are playing solo, the companion AI handles the switches and cooperative puzzles automatically, leaving every boat accessible in single-player mode.
