The Scrapyard in Flare Pool in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is a key point, and investigating its hidden objectives requires you to explore and solve various environmental puzzles. This guide will explain how you'll be able to get your hands on the Fire Chip.

The structure, which consists of the fire chip in a Flare Pool, appears to be ambiguously sealed. Shooting at the contraption doesn't do much, which often leads people to think that the contraption is just a gimmick.

But instead of making your way through the front of the contraption, you want to hop on the platform behind the structure. These structures provide vertical access behind, allowing you to access the area.

After climbing up the platform from the back, you'll notice that there is a narrow passage that requires you to turn into your Morph Ball state to access it. The passage initially appears to be blocked, but it can be broken to be fully accessible.

Going straight ahead will lead you to the main loot scraps, which can be knocked over by using the Morph Ball Bomb, allowing you to you access to them. Upon interacting with it, you will have acquired the Fire Chip, which you will be able to access in your inventory.

The fire chip is required for further progression in the game, and collecting it can help you get weapon upgrades. This part of Metroid Prime 4 primarily puts an emphasis on environmental awareness and exploration rather than combat.

By following this path, you'll be able to quickly clear the scrapyard part of Flare Pool and get your hands on the Fire Chip.
