Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Guide | Energy Extraction Door – Flare Pool

Here’s how you will be able to access and progress through the door.

In Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, in Flare Pool, there is an Energy Extraction segment that is pretty short but heavily influences how the game progresses.

It primarily focuses on scanning the right areas and exploring the map. Knowing exactly how to progress can be a bit confusing, as you are told to progress through a door, but the location of it isn’t necessarily revealed to you, leaving you out in the cold.

This guide will explain how you will be able to proceed through the following stages of the game.

To start, you'll first want to activate the elevator by interacting with the console and scanning it. After that, you'll want to go upstairs, where there will be a console you can interact with by scanning.

Doing so will open a door that lets you proceed to the following sections.

Once that's completed, make your way back down into the hall-like area and use your Psychic Visor mode. When you look up, there will be a small window-like opening. Use your Control Beam attack to shoot at the opening.

Inside, there will be a target that you are required to destroy.

Upon shooting the target, a cutscene will trigger, informing you of a door opening and unlocking, allowing you to progress to the later parts of the Flare Pool in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
