Mina the Hollower Guide | How to Enter The Music Hall

The city of Ossex in Mina the Hollower is constantly changing in the center, as you play. As you pick up new power-ups and improve the upgrades, you will be able to access more buildings. Others of these structures are difficult to enter and the Music Hall is likely the largest of them all. The answer is simply changing your approach and thinking like a mouse, to get past the front doors.

There are a few characters you have met while traveling all over, a couple of bosses are included inside. Behind the counter there is a chest containing some Bonestone. Talk to Willis and give him the thing he wants to hear some Bayou music, and he will give you a very cool Trinket. It's not the largest zone, but there are some nice things for you to pick up.

Slipping Past the Guard

The first time you approach the Ossex Music Hall, you will encounter very angry lizard Kommodore at the entrance. This guard is not here to let you go, he will make sure to stand in your way if you attempt to walk through the front door. When you try to go around him out in the open, he'll just grab you and drag you back to the street. The visible tube structure nearby may make it appear much more complicated than it really is, and cause one to believe that the building is fully locked off.

You can get in at any time into the hall, however, if you use your burrowing ability properly! The key is to not dig in the view of the guard. Rather, look for a nearby area and pay attention to the front doors, observing which characters enter and leave the building. As soon as you see any one entering, start digging underground immediately under him/her. Slow down and keep directly under their feet as they pass through the entrance.

This neat tip will make sure Kommodore doesn't grab you as you pass his post. If you are in a building, open the adjacent tube structure as quickly as possible. When this shortcut is activated - you will never have to repeat the stealth trick again and you will be able to go back to the building whenever you want - it is quick and free!
