Finding all the Candles in MIO: Memories in Orbit is the best way to learn about the game's story. If you collect every single one, you will earn the Tribute trophy. You also get the Defective Core modifier as a reward.

Early Candle Locations

You can find the first Candle by following the main path and using your Hairpin to reach the very end. The second one is locked inside a container, so you must defeat all the enemies nearby to open it.

For the third Candle, use your Hairpin to climb high and then use the Striders skill to stand on top of the gate. The fourth Candle is also reached using the Strider's skill in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Meeting NPCs and Exploring

Some Candles are given to you or found by exploring high and low. Talk to Elesin, and he will give you the fifth Candle. You can find the sixth one simply by climbing to the highest part of its area. The seventh Candle is hidden deep in the Metropolis.

Take the stairs to the bottom and defeat the boss named Poltergates. Go through the door behind the boss to find the item in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Finding Hidden Paths

The eighth Candle is sitting right next to a pipe that blows air upward. To get the ninth one, use your Strider's skill to climb a wall and then fly over to a platform on the left.

The tenth Candle is tucked away inside a series of pipes. Go down the first pipe you see on the left, head through the right-hand door, and then enter the pipe on the left. Follow that tunnel to the end.
