Getting your hands on the map is a huge help for navigating the world of MIO: Memories in Orbit.

You won't have access to it right away, though. You have to fix the Nexus first by gathering some resources and helping out an NPC in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Collecting Currency

Your first job is to fight people who are against you. It's called Nacres, and they drop it when you beat them. You need to keep fighting and traveling until you have 300 Nacres saved up.

Fixing the Nexus

Once you have enough, head back to the Nexus and look for Shii. Start a conversation with her, and you will see an option to give her your collection in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Hand over the 300 Nacres, and she will use them to repair the Nexus. As soon as she finishes the repairs, your map will finally be unlocked and ready to use.
