Preparing Your Skills

Open your menu and find the part for Martial Arts and Ninjutsu. You do this when you want to swap your current moves for something you just unlocked. For example, you might have the Uncanny Bolt from the Shadow Arts list in Nioh 3.

This move lets you throw a spark that follows enemies and shocks them. Your active Ninjutsu moves always stay visible in the corner of your screen.

How to Equip Techniques

Press R1 to switch over to the Ninja tab. You will see a small mark next to any skill you have not used yet. Pick an empty spot or a slot you want to change.

Find the Uncanny Bolt and hit X to set it. Once you do this, the game ties that move to a specific button. You can now see the icon in Nioh 3's quick menu.

Fighting with Ninjutsu

Go find some targets so you can use your power. To trigger the move, hold R1 and then tap X. The lightning will fly out and hit the person you are fighting.

This is how you use your new tools to beat enemies. Keep using these button presses to cast your spells until the fight ends in Nioh 3.
