The Golden Legend Mask is a top-tier item in the survival game Soulmask. This DLC mask is the best tool for finding strong Tribesmen to join your tribe.

When you put it on, you move 10% faster and can see much further. As you upgrade the mask, it shows you the hidden skills and stats of any person you see. It lets you check their Strength, Agility, and how well they handle different tasks.

Using Spirit Sight and Quality Assessment

A major part of this mask is Spirit Sight. This feature shows you Talents that a person can unlock later on. It also helps you see if their bad traits will go away.

If a negative trait has an arrow next to it, that trait will disappear once the Tribesman reaches level 30. You can also right-click on someone to mark them, making them easier to locate when you're ready to begin recruiting.

Defense and Special Modes

This mask is designed to keep you alive in a skirmish. It lessens the damage you absorb by 10%. When facing a large group of foes, this protection can increase to 30% within Soulmask.

There is also a Mimicry Mode. This lets you place a Sunbird Totem that gives you a blessing. It uses Mask Energy to help you find people with very specific skills for your base.

Finding the Shipwreck Location

You get this mask by going to a Golden Legend Zone on the map. You have to dive down to a shipwreck that is about 100m underwater. Look for a glow at the back of the ship to find the mask and the Perception Module.

Look around the ship for chests too. These contain a special outfit and the Restrictive Module. You can also find blueprints for the Sacred Bronze Tree and the Mysterious Bronze Man in this area.

How to Get the Mask Early

You can get this mask even at Awareness Level 2. You do not need to wait until you have more air or better gear. Just bring some Simple Bandages with you. When you pick up the mask, a video starts playing. You must skip this video right away in Soulmask.

If you watch it, you will keep losing air and die. If your health gets low while you are underwater, use a bandage. At the start of the game, a bandage heals you faster than the drowning damage can hurt you. Grab the items, jump back on your mount, and head back to land.
