While you're out and about, keep an eye out for Sunstones and Crystals. These are the key ingredients for leveling up your Mask. Sunstones are what you use to power up your Mask, enabling its special features.
The Crystals are used to unlock new functions in the Mask Menu. For example, spending your Crystals on a core function can increase your energy storage, allowing you to use abilities more often during Soulmask Gameplay.

Raising Your Awareness Strength
To unlock better skills, like the ones for your Spear, you need to increase your Awareness Strength. You gain experience for your character, your Mask, and your skills by doing almost anything.
Cutting down a tree, building a base, or killing enemies will all give you XP.You can see these points popping up in the bottom left of your screen. As your Awareness Strength grows, you can unlock more advanced nodes in your technology chain in Soulmask.

Clearing Outcasts and Finding Loot
The map has different types of danger. Some spots are guarded by Beasts, while others are held by Outcasts. These are small groups of Tribesmen living in the wilderness. Before you can claim the loot from their chests, you'll need to eliminate all enemies in their encampments.
Attempting to loot prematurely will trigger a warning about nearby threats. Opening these chests frequently yields valuable items, including a Stone Blade, Premium Bandages, or additional Mask materials.

Unlocking Mask Control and Boss Temples
Yellow sites are special because they unlock major Mask features. If you have enough Awareness and materials, you can unlock the ability called Control. This is a big step in your Character Progression in Soulmask.
The game moves forward as you find large Temples in different areas, like the desert or snowy regions. Each Temple has a Boss Fight that unlocks a new piece of your Mask and powerful passive skills.Building Your Base and Recruiting
After you have explored a few ruins, you should set up a base of operations. Having a central hub lets you craft better gear and protects you from the environment. In Soulmask, you can also recruit the Tribesmen you find in the world.
Much like an assembly line, these recruits can stay at your base and handle the crafting and gathering tasks for you. This frees you up to head back out, fight more bosses, and explore the rest of the map in Soulmask.
