Photo mode is an in-game feature and a great addition to a game with beautiful settings. When you're into a game, it's usually not hard to be creative and produce something awesome. Games increasingly include this feature, even if it isn't standard, because it gives players greater freedom of expression and, on average, keeps them engaged longer.

Most games with a photo option include a folder or album within the game where you can save screenshots from various chapters. Additionally, these screenshots will be stored on your PC or SSD, so you can modify or share them on social media later.

With that in mind, we have compiled a list of the five best games with a picture mode; using this feature will help you unleash your inner artist.

Top Games, Photo Mode, Female Protagonist, Eve, Stellar Blade

5. Stellar Blade

Ever since Stellar Blade was released, fans have been asking ShiftUp to add the photo mode feature so that they can capture as many memorable moments with EVE as possible. ShiftUp did this last month, along with Blade's Nier: Automata DLC, and the game just doubled its excitement.

With tons of new eye-catching nano suits for EVE and plenty of locations to take photos in the game, you will feel like taking photos every time you discover a new outfit and drop it in a new location during your playthrough. You can also customize the photo's backgrounds with other in-game characters and poses.

Top Games, Photo Mode, Female Protagonist, Infinity Nikki, Cute Nikki

4. Infinity Nikki

Infinity Nikki is Papergames' first major title on consoles and PC, as all their previous games were on mobile devices. Even though fans of dress-up games thought it would be for an average age, Infinity Nikki turned out to be an amazing game. It not only features a vast open world full of different activities, but the game itself is quite engaging.

Obviously, due to the nature of the game, you collect numerous outfit sketches and craft dresses, but it also includes a photo mode that lets you take beautiful photos in several locations. The world of Infinity Nikki is so beautiful and colorful that you'll feel like taking photos anywhere you travel with Nikki and her best friend, Momo.

Top Games, Photo Mode, Female Protagonist, Dragon's Dogma II

3. Dragon's Dogma II

While the first Dragon's Dogma didn't feature photo mode, Capcom added this feature in Dragon's Dogma II from the get-go. Even though you unlock this feature a bit later in the game, after completing certain objectives in Vermund, once you do, you'll feel like taking photos with your party members in every location you visit.

The world of Dragon's Dogma II is stunning, full of variety, and very realistic. You can dress your character with new outfits while unlocking different vocations and recruiting new party members. You'll feel like taking photos every time you defeat a giant dragon or a griffin or travel to an exquisite location.

Top Games, Photo Mode, Protagonist, Ghost of Tsushima, Sunset

2. Ghost of Tsushima

Unlike other studios, Sucker Punch knows gamers quite well. They know what we like in a game and hardly fail to deliver. And boy! did they deliver Ghost of Tsushima! It's not only an amazing game, but the setting is exquisite. The game has jaw-dropping visuals that are not only realistic to feudal Japan, but every detail of Tsushima Island is also unbearably realistic.

Even though it's an action-packed game and you'll encounter enemies in every location you travel, once you take them out, the first thing that'll come to your mind is taking a photo. The mountains, the trees, the fields, and every single element in the game are so refreshing and realistic that you can't help but capture the moment in the game. Even during combat, particularly when in a standoff situation, you'd want to take a photo of Jin raising his sword or taking his stance before attacking the enemies.

Top Games, Photo Mode, Female Protagonist, Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy

1. Horizon Forbidden West

The Horizon series is probably among the most beautiful games, if not of all time. Its rich, colorful world not only immerses you in gameplay but also makes the game itself highly engaging. Besides taking down numerous machine enemies, you venture as Aloy to numerous different locations, and each one is better than the others.

Thankfully, the game features a photo mode, and you won't be able to stop taking photos every time you see a beautiful sunset or snowfall, or even when surrounded by greenery in a deep forest. It was hard to resist taking photos in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC whenever I dropped into a new location with Aloy, given her beautiful appearance and unique outfits. While I've finished the main story a few times already, the game's photo mode is the only reason for me to revisit the world of Horizon Forbidden West.

That's all for now, folks. Although there is room for a couple more games on the list, I opted for the top five rather than the top ten. I strongly recommend you play these games if you haven't already. In addition to finding these games really enjoyable to play, you also find plenty of joy in capturing plenty of photos as you go on your adventures.
