Writing and you

This blog post has the purpose to help the ones that seeks the dream of a freelance/professional career in writing. Please keep in mind that these are my guidelines, adapted to my writing style and/or my personal taste.
- If you are starting, don't start with long articles. Experience would eventually come with time. Note: this doesn't matter when you read a small text, what matters is the content.
-Always start with an intro. Write one small paragraph, describe its content.
-Add pictures. Readers will run immediatly if they see a big wall of text. NOTE: two paragraphs, one picture.
-When you write an article, try to not include too many links. One, two, or three are enough. If you link more, readers will distract themselves by checking the other site instead of reading your article.
-Don't write your article in one single day, save your work on a text document. Then you can comeback and make a few changes if you don't like your work.
-Proof read, always. When you finish your document, take a closer look to eventual spelling mistakes and incorrect grammar. Spellnig mistaKes 'nd grammer miztakes are like zits in your wriTing.
-Don't use vulgar language.
-If you write about a bad game, don't act like a troll. Think that someone might like the game and might get offended with your article. Bad example: X game sucks... Good example: X game is not very good... After all, you need to explain why the game is not a very good game.
-Always finish your articles with a final paragraph. Say a few facts and express your opinion.
I can't remember them all at the moment. There are a few more but I think these ones are the most important ones.
