The latest update video for the damage hero Symmetra has gone live. While the video mainly covered story related lore, director Jeff Kaplan also touched on some of the changes coming to the game. This includes a method to lower queue times: the priority pass. This pass will be rewarded in different ways, but the most common will be by winning a match (which will grant extra passes). Up to 40 passes can be held on to indefinitely until the player chooses to cash it in. When they do, they will be placed in a special all role queue with shorter wait times. The hope is that by some players using these flexible passes, it will lower the overall queue for the majority.
Besides the priority pass update, Kaplan went on to mention that the replay feature will have new options. This includes new camera movement, new outlines on characters, HUD adjustments, and sound controls. The team hopes this will assist both content creators and hardcore players looking to study their gameplay.
