After being approved for Steam Greenlight, 2D side-scroller Gigantic Army has found its way to Valve’s storefront. It’s available now on PC for $5.99.

For that price, you’ll get six classic piwel-inspired stages of chaotic mechanized action. Players control a mobile robot that can be equipped with a set of weapons. Additionally, it’s possible to use thrusters for an extra boost of speed. It essentially does everything that fandangled Titanfall business has to offer, but without the additional dimension.

One of the neater things included in the deal, however, is a .pdf file that will allow for the reconstruction of an original packaging, branded like a classic Super Nintendo game. To avoid some copyright troubles, it even changes the title to Super Memento. It fits the 16-bit theme perfectly. Hopefully, it comes with a ton of instructions, for us gifted with all thumbs.

We spent some time with Gigantic Army and certainly caught the vibe. You can read about it in our full review.
