Overwatch Release Date Announced

Overwatch, Blizzard's first new IP in a very long while, just got it's release date announced. A trailer uploaded earlier today announced the 24th of May as the release date for the title. Pre-ordering the game will give you and a friend early access to the open beta which starts on the 3rd of May.

Overwatch is set to release on PC, Xbox One and PS4. There are three editions of the game: a standard one available only through digital download, priced at 39.99 EUR, the Origins Edition which can also be bought physically and awards 5 skins and some other digital goodies alongside the game, priced at 59.99 EUR and a Collector's Edition which can only be bought in physical form and comes with a visual sourcebook, the game's soundtrack and a nifty little statue and whose prices vary depending on where you are located.
