Blizzard Warning Overwatch Players Who Farm Double Experience in Custom Game
Don't cheat in Overwatch, Blizzard is warning you
News by Grayshadow on Mar 09, 2017
Blizzard doesn't like when players cheat in Overwatch, banning cheaters instantly for their first strike. Now Blizzard has issued a warning for players who farm experience using custom games.
In an update game director, Jeff Kaplan, explained:
"It’s very disappointing to us that players abused the system to gain experience while inactive. As some of you have noticed, Skirmish in Custom Game no longer rewards experience. Also, the AFK timer is now in place in Skirmish mode (in Custom Game only). This change is rolling out over a 24 hour period and should be live in all regions by the end of today."
This isn't surprising as Overwatch loot boxes are rare commodities, especially in the later prestige levels. Simply put, Blizzard is ensuring that earning these boxes is fair among the gaming community.
Overwatch is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
