Guacamelee! 2 Will Also Launch On PC

Back in October, DrinkBox Studios announced that Guacamelee! 2, the sequel to their luchador metrodivania Guacamelee!, would launch on the PS4. Yesterday, the studio revealed that their upcoming title will also come to Steam. Judging by the game's Steam Page, a new threat to the Mexiverse will bring luchador Juan Aguacarte out of retirement. Drop-in 4-player co-op will make a return, while the new "trainer" system will require finding and defeating trainers in order to develop skills.

Guacamelee! 2 will have twice as many enemy types as the original and "definintely no secret society of chickens that teaches you ancient chicken abilities previously lost to the ages!". The title is "Coming Soon", and can be wishlisted on Steam. The studio's previous titles are currentlly on sale, with a hefty 90% discount, making it the best time to give the original Guacamelee! or Tales From Space: Mutant Blob Attacks a try.
