Overwatch New Hero Teased, Most Likely Echo

Echo was an Omnic featured in the Reunion animated short that featured Ashe and McCree. Now, the one-off character may be the next hero in Overwatch.

Blizzard teased a new image showing off a message from Dr. Liao. She's talking about an Omnic she created for good and it sounds like Echo. This could be a misdirection as Blizzard has done this before. Such as showing of robotic genius Efi Oladele but revealing later that her robot Orisa would be joining the game instead.

Overwatch is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Overwatch 2 is now in development.
