With only a month before launching WB Games announced that Batman: Return to Arkham will not release on time. In fact they have no new release date for the game as of now.
Batman: Return to Arkham is a remastered edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, with all DLC content included, for the Xbox One and PS4. In an official statement from WB Games the publisher stated that the game will not release on July 29th. Instead that the game was delayed due to quality issues.
“After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience,” a WB Games staffer with the handle SteveGrayson wrote.
“We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.”
Batman: Arkham Knight for the PC released with a lot of issues, forcing WB Games to recall the game entirely and refund gamers. In an attempt to prevent another issue like that perhaps taking extra time to ensure everything runs smoothly is best.
Batman: Return to Arkham will launch on Xbox One and PS4.
