Blur Delayed until 2010

Activision has announced that their much-anticipated title, Blur, is to be delayed until 2010. The company claims this will allow the development team, Bizarre Creations, a lot more time to focus on the “innovative” and “groundbreaking” multiplayer aspects of their arcade racer and “fully optimize its vision.”
It could actually turn out to be a blessing in disguise as this fall is saturated with racing titles such as: Gran Turismo 5, Forza 3 and Need For Speed: Shift – three of the power-house franchises of the genre.
The game will now join a plethora of other titles already pencilled in for next year, in what is set to be a very interesting year for gamers everywhere. "We are committed to making Blur a great new racing franchise, and we are very encouraged by the game's design," said Mike Griffith, President and CEO of Activision.
