Deck-building RPG Deck of Ashes Gets New Story Trailer

Deck-building RPG Deck of Ashes has received a new story trailer setting the stage for its upcoming April launch. Set in a dark fantasy world beset by a cloud of corruption, the title follows a party of anti-heroes as they seek to rid the world of the Ash Curse.

Journeying through Deck of Ashes' procedurally generated world will inevitably lead to combat, which takes place in the form of turn-based card battles. Each character is said to have over 100 cards to mix and match in their decks, the system catering to both new players and those willing to take things one step further and experiment. Resource management and camp improvement play an important role in ensuring your party pushes on, while permadeath lurks around every corner.
