Developers Possibly Backing Out Of PSN Support [Rock The Vote]

Now that I have your attention with a patented, fear mongering headline towards the PSN soap opera, we can scale the drama down a bit. A bit, but not completely. My apologies for that, but given the circumstances, a bland one wouldn’t fit in towards the current spree of non-statements all over the net. Here we go!

Epic revivers of Dreamcast glory, redspotgames, have officially jumped on the PSN panic train. Their development title Rush Rush Rally Racing was set to release this summer on PSN, but that’s not so sure anymore.

They are now leaving it up to the fans to decide, at the most inopportune of times, whether or not redspotgames should continue to develop this title for PSN. Not only that, but they also added: “The Online Survey, will set a precedent for futher projects as well. Should an enormous amount of users vote against the PlayStation Network, a cancellation is likely.”

This survey can be accessed here. Please, if you have a soul, don’t take yet another game from the already small PSP support, certainly in Europe. Especially since Dreamcast games are awesome and chances are this is the 1 chance to get some; do vote with your mind, not your current outrage on the outage. Did you know those two words only differ in one letter?
