New Mario At E3?

There have been rumours flying around over the last couple of days of a new Mario game, rumours that seem to be building momentum from legions of Nintendo fans on internet forums across the globe.

It all originates from the somewhat shocking news that Shigeru Miyamoto will be absent from Nintendo’s main press conference at this years E3, instead focusing his efforts on thing’s behind the scenes this year.

Experts believe that him not being in the limelight may spark a return to more traditional Nintendo games, as every time he has taken centre stage of late it has been to promote family orientated games such as Wii Fit and Wii Music.

The news may come as a disappointment to many Nintendo fans, especially those who see his cameo as one of the highlights of the show, but I’m sure he’ll be forgiven if it means another big Nintendo title is in the pipeline.
