PS Minis Reach 1 Million

PlayStation Minis were released just over nine months ago, and already they’ve tallied up one million in sales. Most of the eighty-five plus titles that are currently available were originally designed for the PlayStation Portable, but a large majority of them are now also PlayStation 3 compatible, and have significantly contributed to the total.

It was rumoured that the move was to combat the dominance of the AppStore, although nobody ever admitted to it. It seems Sony still have a long way to go if they’re ever going to compete on that level though, with Apple users currently having downloaded over 5 billion of the quarter million applications available.

Susan Panico, PlayStation Network’s senior director posted in an official PlayStation blog posted the news as well as the top 10 most popular titles to date:

3. Fieldrunners
4. Zombie Tycoon
5. Bloons
6. Spot The Differences!
7. Pinball Fantasies
8. Mahjongg Artifacts: Chapter 2
9. YetiSports: Pengu Throw
10. BreakQuest
