Scribblenauts gets Super in sequel
News by David on May 21, 2010
The sequel to 5TH Cell’s ambitious word puzzle game has been announced this week, and will be known as Super Scribblenauts.
For those not familiar with the first Scribblenauts, players were tasked with guiding a character named Maxwell through a bevy of challenging side-scrolling levels, inputting nouns to summon objects to help the player progress and collect Starites along the way.
Aside from being able to type in nouns, Super Scribblenauts will expand on the original’s word-based gameplay; players can now enter adjectives to modify the size, elements, actions, etc. of the objects they summon in the game. 5TH Cell also said the variations made to the summoned objects will be collective, so there are plenty of deviations for players to expand upon. Other new features are expected to be announced down the road.
There is no release date for Super Scribblenauts as of late, but the game will most likely be ready in Fall 2010.
