Super Mario Maker 2 Final Update Adds a Ton of Upgrades, Including Super Mario Bros. 2 Mario

The last major update for Super Mario Maker 2 is coming this week. With the update adding a ton of new power-ups as requested by the community.

The new power-ups include:

Super Mario Bros 2 Mario - Throw Enemies like in Super Mario Bros. 2

Frog Suit - Swim with greater control and run on water

Power Balloon

Flying Squirrel Mario

Boomerang Mario

There are also new boxes Mario can wear. Cannon box allows Mario to shoot cannonballs, Propeller Box allows you to jump larger distances and drop quickly, POW box for destroying boxes, Goomba box makes Mario appear friendly towards enemies, Bullet Bill Box allows Mario to dash large distances.

Bowser's Children will be added to the game with unique attacks and either in 2D or 3D models.

New items include the cursed key, trampoline, Mechakoopers with red ones attacking with homing attacks, blue ones shooting lasers, and at night can fly. 

The biggest addition is the World Marker. Allowing players to create their own world maps with personalized maps, bonus games, and course icons.

Super Mario Maker 2 is now available for Nintendo Switch.
