The Surge 2 Gets a Gameplay Walkthrough Featuring the Alternative Routes Players Can Use
The Surge 2 gets after E3 2019

Before E3 2019 started, Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive revealed that The Surge 2 would be launching this September 24th. Now, about a week after the convention a new 9 minute gameplay walkthrough has been uploaded that features commentary from Deck13's Head of Game Design Adam Hetenyi.
The gameplay footage is alpha footage, showcasing the alternate routes the player can use to their advantage. Jericho City, where The Surge 2 takes place, has more NPCs and options than the first game. With the player able to help or kill NPCs for their resources. Hetenyi did mention that some NPCs could betray you, so it's up to the player how they which to tackle their own story.
The footage showed highlights previously known information as well. Such as collecting new gear and weapons from enemies by chopping off specific body parts. Players can leave messages online, similar to Dark Souls, but players who've played that game know that those messages are often less helpful, providing misleading information very often.
The demo ends with the Delver Echo, a giant lizard-like robot. Like the common enemies, players can chop off specific parts to expose weak points.
The Surge 2 will release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One this September 24th.
