Violent Games Praised

The latest study from scientists in the US and Israel claim that playing violent video games can improve a players’ eyesight. The same study claims that shoot ‘em up’s have an adverse effect.

The study showed that killing opponents in these sorts of games heightens the ability to notice small changes in light and dark against a uniform background. They can also help with eye sensitivity when reading and driving at night or in foggy conditions.

Playing non-action video didn’t offer the same benefits.

This study will come as a breath of fresh air to most gamers, with the amount of bad press video games, and more specifically violent video games receive.
